Juneau
(Alaska)Alaska's capital - reachable only by sea or air. Ride the Mount Roberts Tramway for panoramic views, stand beside the Mendenhall Glacier, or hop on a bush plane for a flightseeing tour over the vast Juneau Icefield.

(Canada)British Columbia's charming capital, full of English gardens, heritage architecture and proper afternoon tea at the Fairmont Empress. Stroll the Inner Harbour at dusk when it's lit by tens of thousands of bulbs, or visit Butchart Gardens.

Overview
MSC Poesia emerged from a major refit in early 2026 with a brand new MSC Yacht Club enclave, a Butcher's Cut steakhouse, a reimagined Kaito Sushi and a vibrant All-Star Sports Bar. Across her 16 decks she blends classic European elegance with modern entertainment, anchored by a grand three-deck atrium with cascading waterfall and live piano every evening. With three pools, multiple sun decks, the Aurea Spa and headline shows like Dirty Dancing in Concert, there's plenty to fill the days at sea - and her round-trip Seattle Alaska itinerary makes her perfectly placed for the route.
Food & Drink
Two main dining rooms (Il Palladio in scarlet and Le Fontane in cooling blues) deliver daily changing international menus. The Villa Pompeiana buffet is open round the clock. Speciality includes the new Butcher's Cut steakhouse and reimagined Kaito Sushi. Bars range from the chic Mojito to the Hitchcock Lounge and All-Star Sports Bar.
Entertainment
The two-level Teatro Carlo Felice hosts nightly headline shows including the brand new Dirty Dancing in Concert, performed live with the film. Other rotating productions cover opera, acrobatics and rock classics. Live music plays nightly across the bars, with late night dancing at the S32 Disco and karaoke at the Pigalle Lounge.
Pools & Outdoors
Three pools handle every mood - the lively Coral Bay with cabanas and a big screen, the quieter Cayo Levantado with whirlpools and an adults-only Solarium for sun soaked relaxation. Sports facilities include basketball, tennis, mini-golf, shuffleboard and a jogging track. The new Yacht Club adds a private sun deck with hot tubs and bar.
Spa & Fitness
The reimagined MSC Aurea Spa has a thermal suite with ocean view sauna, two steam rooms, a salt room, Kneipp path and emotional showers. Treatments cover massages, facials and beauty services, with a smoothie bar to refresh. The TechnoGym fitness centre has free weights, treadmills and group classes - all with floor-to-ceiling ocean views.
