Overview

Icon of the Seas is one of the biggest cruise ships in the world - a holiday destination in itself. Eight distinct neighbourhoods stretch across her 20 decks, from family focussed Surfside to the adults only Hideaway with its swim up infinity pool suspended at the edge of the ship. The ship IS the experience - a city at sea built for spectacle, with seven pools, the largest waterpark at sea, an enclosed Aquadome theatre, an ice rink, real planting in Central Park and over 40 places to eat and drink. Whether you want non stop thrills, quiet adults only corners or full family chaos, Icon has the space to do all three at once.

Food & Drink

More than 40 restaurants, bars and lounges deliver on every craving. Speciality venues include Chops Grille steakhouse, Giovanni's Italian Kitchen, Hooked Seafood and the new Empire Supper Club for an eight course tasting menu with live jazz and a New York supper club vibe. Casual options run from Sorrento's pizza to the Aquadome Market and Surfside Eatery.

Entertainment

The Royal Theatre stages the full Wizard of Oz production. The Aquadome runs the high diving Aqua Nation and the family Pirates vs Mermaids water shows. Absolute Zero Ice Theatre hosts new ice spectaculars Starburst: Elemental Odyssey and Once Upon a Time: Reimagined. Music Hall handles live music and The Attic for comedy - both family friendly and adults only.

Pools & Outdoors

Outside is a city in itself. Thrill Island has six high speed water slides including the record breaking Pressure Drop and Frightening Bolt. Chill Island's Royal Bay Pool spans three decks with the Swim and Tonic swim up bar plus an extended FlowRider. Crown's Edge is the rope and skywalk combo that swings out over the ocean. Seven pools in total.

Spa & Fitness

The Vitality Spa has a thermal suite with heated loungers, sauna, steam room, rainforest showers and aromatherapy zones, plus massages, facials and aesthetic services. The fitness centre is one of the largest at sea with cardio kit, free weights, functional zones and group classes including spinning, yoga, HIIT and Pilates. Hair, nail and barber salons too.

Accommodation

Cabin categories spread across the eight neighbourhoods, so you can pick your view, vibe and budget. Inside, oceanview, balcony and Surfside Family View options cover all needs. Three decks of Suite Neighbourhood include the Coastal Kitchen suite restaurant, The Grove and a suite only pool. The Ultimate Family Townhouse is a three deck triplex with its own private slide.
