About the Scarlet Lady
Overview
Scarlet Lady is the first ship in the Virgin Voyages fleet and the boat that defined the line - adults only, design led, with the energy of a boutique hotel rather than a traditional cruise ship. She had a major refit in November 2024 with new suites, cabana upgrades, fresh menus, new shows and an expanded schedule of themed nights from the Happenings Cast. There are no buffets, no kids and no formal nights, just 20+ included restaurants by Michelin-starred chefs and a properly grown up onboard vibe. Tips, WiFi, soft drinks and group fitness are all included as standard.
Food & Drink
All 20+ restaurants are included with menus by Michelin-starred chefs - the new Lucky Lotus Chinese, Korean BBQ at Gunbae, the steakhouse The Wake, Pink Agave for Mexican, Extra Virgin for Italian, plus The Galley food hall covering ramen, tacos and sushi. Bars run from the Manor nightclub to Sip champagne lounge and the Loose Cannon dive bar.
Entertainment
The Red Room hosts immersive shows including Duel Reality, Ships in the Night, Persephone and the cult UNTITLEDDANCESHOWPARTYTHING. The Manor pivots from theatre to nightclub for late night dancing. Themed nights include Scarlet Night and the PJ Party, plus new additions - an '80s Klub Rubiks, a Y2K Party and a Hollywood inspired drag show.
Pools & Outdoors
The Aquatic Club main pool was expanded in the 2024 refit with extra cabanas and daybeds, with bar service poolside and a DJ on the deck above. The Athletic Club covers the top deck with a jogging track, outdoor yoga, suspension rigs, a boxing ring and what they call the world's largest daybed - perfect for ocean view lounging between sea days.
Spa & Fitness
The Redemption Spa has a thermal suite with thalassotherapy, salt room, sauna and steam room, with a full menu of massages, facials and Medi-Spa treatments. Group fitness across HIIT, yoga, cycling and boxing is unlimited at the Athletic Club, with the included Yoga Studio and a running track. Stubble & Groom handles barber services on board.
Accommodation
Cabins feel boutique hotel, with rainforest showers and tablet-controlled lighting. The Insider has wardrobe space and mini fridge. Sea View adds a porthole and window seat; Sea Terrace adds a full balcony with a signature red hammock. Rock Star Suites in three tiers - Seriously Suite, Rock Star and Mega Rock Star - add private bars and exclusive areas.
